THE HOME

The Agiorgiti Residence, has been characterised as one of the most beautiful private, heritage homes in central Athens. An 'embassy' of Greek philosophy and culture, it is known for its elegant bohemian ambiance. Built in the 1930's, it is enhanced with collections of Greek heritage artifacts, reproductions and antiques.

The home also reflects the intimate story of the Agiorgiti family, from their experiences as part of the Greek diaspora, their involvement in the Greek resistance movement, their creative, cultural and professional achievements. All these and more are reflected in the characteristic way they express their heritage, and are shared with the public today.

The residence has had  long list of past notable visitors and residents as Maria Callas, Aristotle Onassis, Melina Mercouri -and in the recent celebrities as Ashton Kutcher, influencers, creators, politicians, scholars, academics and royalty who have enjoyed its unique atmosphere and cultural programs.

Since 2021, the Agiorgiti Residence is closed to the public.
